The people of Israel had disobeyed and rebelled against God, and they faced the consequences. They then concluded that obedience to God was the only way to experience His blessings in their lives.

Obedience should stem from love and gratitude to God, knowing we can trust His wisdom, and everything He says is for our good. Also, a life of obedience will help us reflect the character of Christ in every way.

​

It is not always easy to obey the voice of God, because the voice of reason and the opinions of the people around us can often drown out the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit.

Have a wonderful day, and let's listen to, and obey God in small matters so we won't miss hearing Him in the bigger decisions.
