We use soaps primarily for personal hygiene and to only cleanse our bodies.

The Lord used this metaphor to warn His people that their human efforts, good deeds and religious rituals could never wash away their sins of backsliding, moral guilt, idolatry and unfaithfulness to the Lord.

​

Only the precious and sinless blood of Jesus, which was shed on the Cross of Calvary, can cleanse us from all sin and unrighteousness and free us from guilt and shame.

Have a wonderful day, and let's remember, Jesus paid the price, and those who believe in Him and confess their sins are forgiven, cleansed and made righteous before God.
