We forsake God when we turn away from the faith, reject God's commands, refuse to submit to His will, spurn His love, disregard the truth, pursue self-sufficiency, and willfully continue in sin.

The Lord is the fountain of living water, and anyone who chooses to forsake this permanent source of life for temporary things will be put to shame and will lose out on the gift of eternal life with God.

​

However, those who have made Christ their hope have the wonderful assurance from Jesus that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

​

Have a joyful day, and if Jesus Christ is our only hope, we are sure to have endless joy both now and forever.
